Our Story
The Los Angeles Mongolian Community (LAMC), established in 2021, serves an estimated 7,000 Mongolians across the greater Los Angeles area. Founded by local Mongolian community members, LAMC was created to address pressing challenges and foster greater opportunities through vital programs such as workforce training, English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, access to legal services, youth educational support, mental health resources, and housing assistance. Our mission is to empower individuals by helping them stay connected to their Mongolian heritage while gaining the skills and support needed to improve their quality of life and thrive in their communities.
